Child of God Becoming

"I want you to love Me above all else.
When you are in a
relationship of love with Me,
you have everything there is."

To be loved by God is
the highest relationship,
the highest achievement
and the highest position in life.

In my shock upon readning this,
I said aloud in exasperation,
"What!! Not a career,
or being a significant contribution to society?
NOTHING MORE??"

Then an audible voice gently responded,
"...and nothing less!"
I was all tears and shaking uncontrollably.
No human was in the room with me.

I will let myself be molded and shaped
by what I am to become in Christ
by seeking first His Kingdom
and His Righteousness.

When I am filled with Him,
what else do I need?
