I’m still waiting and it’s taking forever!
Has God been more concerned with the needs of others more significant, more spiritual people than He is with me?

Waiting is difficult. It forces me to
rely on God when my human nature is to control: It’s gotta be my say, my way, right now!

But just as it took Noah about 75 years to build the ark & WAITED for the flood to come, Abraham WAITED 25 years before Isaac was born. Similarly, David WAITED for his promised throne as a fugitive to his own king for 7 years, while Jesus WAITED 33 years before He started ministry work.

God will keep working in an area in my life until I willingly surrender control and yield to the loving & perfect promptings of Holy Spirit. From heaven’s perspective, GOD IS WAITING FOR ME to cease being “of the flesh” and cooperate with Him!

I do not aspire to be a spiritual giant like the biblical characters mentioned with awesome divine assignments. But one thing is sure: they were all ordinary people whose only qualification was a heart totally abandoned to the Lord. And God is faithful to complete the good work He began in little ole me. It’s certainly worth the wait!!
